I want to help you feel confident in asking for a raise, and with a work journal, you'll feel more prepared for the conversation.
What does a work journal look like?

In its simplest form - a work journal is simply tracking your ongoing process. This can look different for everyone.

You could keep track in the notes app on your iPhone.

You could keep track in a Google or Word doc.

You could keep track in a physical journal.

What's most important is to set reminders whether that's on your phone or calendar- but finding a consistent time where you update your work journal.

What I don't want to see happen for you, is for your to devalue the tasks you're working on and think it's not worth writing down in your work journal, and then the end of the year comes and you have hardly anything that stands out as progress for the past year.
